You know the way members of the medical profession seem to recommend exercise as a solution for everything? Well, they are actually on to something. Exercise doesn’t just keep you fit and slim, it can even improve your sex life.
As sex itself is indeed a form of exercise, you could always just have more of it. Why not? It’s a start. When you see the sexual benefits of other forms of exercise though, you’ll probably want to take those up too.
All forms of exercise that make your heart beat faster improve the blood flow to your whole body. That includes improving the flow to your manhood when you get an erection meaning a harder wood. Who wouldn’t rather be mahogany than pine? Even better than that, a study by Harvard University found that men who exercised regularly were 30% less likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction than those who didn’t.
Blood isn’t all that flows better with exercise, though. Lifting weights is proven to raise testosterone levels too. This results in a higher sex drive and increased sperm production. However, be careful not to overdo it as over-training can reduce testosterone levels which can potentially lead to erection problems and eventually, infertility. And don’t even think about going near those steroids. They will really wreck your testosterone levels and can even make your balls shrink. Definitely not worth it, chaps.
Back to the good stuff: exercising doesn’t only have internal and, probably not that easy to notice, benefits for your sex life, it has more obvious ones too. Men who engage in a good mixed exercise program with plenty of cardiovascular training, resistance (weights) training, core stability and stretching will be better in bed due to being more flexible, stronger and having more stamina. Having strong muscles around your pelvic area will also result in longer ejaculations. Who wouldn’t want that?
If all this wasn’t motivation enough to get in that gym, think about how you’ll feel looking in the mirror and seeing yourself all buff. You’re self-esteem and confidence will go through the roof which will be even more of a turn on for the ladies (or gentlemen, depending on your persuasion) than your fit, hunky body.
Therefore, exercise is not only a health magic bullet, it will also help you keep a loaded gun.
