It is a well-known fact that sexually transmitted diseases among men are on the rise – between 2009 and 2012, the incidence of gonorrhoea amongst under-25s has risen by 50% in the UK. Furthermore, an estimate of 96,000 people are living with HIV in the UK in 2012, and 25% of those are unaware of their condition. The year is almost over and it seems that many have deferred their plans to get checked in 2014.
Chappie has recently joined forces with the City Walk-In Clinic in London to bring to you the ‘Check your Chap’ campaign – a movement that aims to promote sexual health awareness amongst men (and women) all around the country.
Anyone – yes, even you – are welcomed to ask Chappie any queries regarding sexual health by tweeting via the #AskChappie hashtag. Also, for a limited time only, enjoy a 15% off any STI check-ups when you follow and retweet a promotional post via @Walkin_Clinic. Take a look here for more details and for a quick symptoms check.
Real Men take care of their manhood and make sure they are not at risk to others. It’s time to check your chap!
Stay Safe.
